The Technate of Aquanda is an island nation located between Meltra and Novia. Unlike other nations, Aquanda is the only nation in the world to have settlements/ infrastructure underwater. It is also the only technocracy in the world. Lastly, it is the only nation in the world that uses water as a source of energy and power.

As a result of the nation having underwater settlements and infrastructure, Aquanda is the only nation in the world to have a type that makes up a majority of its population, that being Water. Grass and Flying come next as types that make a notable portion of Aquanda's population of 46.1 million citizens. Due to the dominance of Water types, a majority of the population also lives underwater, however, there are still those who choose to live on land despite either having the ability to or being able to live comfortably underwater.
