Overview

The Republic of Novia is a large nation located on the far west of the northeastern continent. Novia is the only democratic nation in the world, and the first to ever exist. It's also one of the few nations that has federalized power. The nation is often seen as a counterpart to Arcinia, as instead of conquering nations through force, nations join them willingly through diplomacy. Furthermore, it has the second strongest military force in the world, behind Arcinia.

Society

Citizens enjoy many freedoms, but unlike other nations, citizens have the right to choose who governs them. However, the nation still has many of its fair share of issues. Discrimination against hybrid Pokemon is quite common, and many who were still loyal to the monarchy often try to stir trouble and advocate for the return of the monarch through violent means.
